Ambassadors
The ambassador for Poland, Agatha Filipowska is Assistant Professor on the Poznan University of Economics.
She teaches courses on business process modeling, e-government, software engineering and management information systems. Agata Filipowska has a Master of Science from Poznan University of Economics (received in 2004, Summa Cum Laude) and PhD from Poznan University of Economics and Macquarie University in Sydney (received in 2010, Summa Cum Laude). From 2004 she has been involved in projects funded by European Commission under 6 and 7 Framework Programme: ASG, Insemtives, Service Web 3.0, SUPER and USE-ME.GOV. In SUPER and Service Web 3.0 Agata Filipowska was coordinating dissemination activities. Moreover, Agata Filipowska chaired Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Business Information Systems from 2004 to 2006. Currently, Agata is involved in 2 externaly funded research projects, namely FP7 LOD2 and e-UM. She is a member of PC of several workshops and conferences and author (and lecturer) of few tutorials on Semantic Business Process Management. She is an author of numerous conference and journal papers. Her main areas of interest include information retrieval and filtering and information extraction.
