OpenData.cz is an initiative of academic researchers from the Charles University in Prague, University of Economics in Prague and Czech Technical University in Prague. We promote the principles of Linked Open Data in the public sector of the Czech Republic. We already helped various institutions to publish their data in RDF according to Linked Data principles, e.g., Czech Trade Inspection Authority (http://www.coi.cz/cz/spotrebitel/open-data-databaze-kontrol-sankci-a-zak..., in czech only - search for RDF) or Czech Telecommunication Office (http://www.ctu.cz/otevrena-data/katalog-otevrenych-dat-ctu.html?action=d..., in czech only - the files available for download are RDF files). We also currently prepare RDF publication for Czech Social Security Administration - all their datasets will be available as Linked Open Data, including SPARQL endpoint.
We also convert datasets of various public institutions in the Czech Republic to Linked Data representation (including their registration on http://datahub.io, see http://datahub.io/dataset?organization=opendata-cz). We have recorded all our converted datasets in our CKAN instance available at http://linked.opendata.cz. The data is also available via SPARQL endpoint available at http://linked.opendata.cz/sparql.
