Ambassadors

Martin Necasky works as an associate professor at the Department of Software Engineering at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics. He does research in Linked Data, Semantic Web, database technologies, web development and software engineering. He teachs several software engineering courses and act as a contact person for IT business partners of the Charles University.

Martin works as linked data scientist for OpenData.cz, with the goal to motivate people and organizations to publish their data as open and linked so that anyone can use not only the data but also the links. He worked with many data sources distributed across the web. For example with public contracts and budgets, medical data, geographical data, demographical data, legislative documents, etc.
